As styles change denim stays. Even on a hot summer day it is always tempting to throw on a pair of jeans. It is probably the only type of pant you can get away with wearing every season. Denim isn’t just for your legs though. Many are showing off their denim style with shirts, shorts, dresses, shoes, and even swimwear. You can never have enough denim but it is also important to know how to wear it and what styles look good on your body type.
The Jegging. This is a pant that is extremely slim fitting, comparable to leggings but made of denim instead of cotton. This type of pant is popular and if you have the right build to pull it off, then make sure you add jeggings to your collection. If you are unsure, pair the jeggings with a long shirt that covers areas you may be sensitive about. Those of you that are thinking you wouldn’t be caught dead in this tight pant, it is your lucky day. Bootcut fit jeans are making a come back. There is nothing cuter than a short “flowy” tank, a pair of bootcut jeans, paired with high wedges.
Denim Jumper. This is something that is quite fashionable right now but may not last forever. You can find affordable jumpers, so you don’t feel bad when they go out of style next summer. However, denim jumpers are way too cute and trendy to miss out. Have fun with it while it lasts. You can even pull it off with a cardigan and cowboy boots as it turns Fall.
Denim Shirt. A denim shirt with a pair of white shorts, a denim shirt with a pair of leggings, a denim shirt with a mid length pleaded shirt, a denim shirt with a sexy boy short (this is for lounging around the house only!). Get my point? You need to have a denim shirt. After a few washes they are totally comfortable and can be worn almost anytime with anything. Keep it simple. There is no reason to buy a denim shirt with flair of any sort; that way it will last a life time in style
You can get away with wearing denim in almost every outfit you put on, but be careful not to wear too much denim. Think of denim as an accessory and pair it accordingly! Very often you will see denim on denim. If you are in the mood, try it but you might want to seek advice by looking at pictures of how its worn or asking a friend. Many think a denim shirt with denim jeans should be left for runway models or cowgirls, but in my opinion, its worth a shot. I wouldn’t mind feeling like a runway model or even a cowgirl for a day!
