Back to school shopping is in full swing right now. Many kids start school today but over the next 3 weeks we’ll see more kids looking for the latest outfits to go back to school.. There is so much the children need yet so much they also want or must have. It is difficult to draw the line when you are working so hard to excite them for school as the end of summer draws near. However, when you are out and about school shopping with a cart filled to the ceiling, make sure you add in these necessary items listed by grade level.
This isn’t the age that you spend your salary on kids clothing. Most of the time, your children will engage in activities that require them to get messy and most of the time lunch will be worn home on their clothes. It should be simple to dress this age cute yet affordable. One thing you may want to purchase and spend money on quality is a great (not good) pair of running shoes. Your children will not be running around just on gym day as the activities vary from one minute to the next. It is important that elementary children have a quality pair of running shoes that fit well and can last until the next shoe size. We’ve seen some great deals it our Nike Outlet, Reebok, and Adidas Outlet.
Schools have a difficult time maintaining a comfortable temperature through the ups and downs of climate. In the colder months it is freezing, and in the warmer months it is still freezing. You all know exactly what I mean if you have ever stepped foot in an air conditioned school. Many teachers prefer a cold room as they are standing and teaching all day in the same place. With that said, add an everyday button up cardigan or zip up sweatshirt. There are too many to pick from that will keep your child feeling stylish yet warm. Have fun with the color so even a mismatch look is well desired. The hoodies and cardigans with fur inside are rather adorable, but this type may be a little too much for an everyday wear at school. I recommend a think cotton style.
During my high school years, I spent more time planning my outfits. By Monday, my outfits were set for the week. One thing that never changes though, is a good pair of jeans. Jeans are something you can dress up or down, and because most are affordable, you can stock up on a variety of styles. Since most high schools have dress codes, getting too creative with your outfits can get you into trouble, but jeans always seem to be a safe choice. Walking the outlet centers we’ve seen great deals from GAP Outlet, GUESS, rue21, and Aeropostale to name a few store with fun fashion trends at a price that won’t break the bank.
An 8 am class is not usually a favorite to a college student…. Especially after cramming the night before. The first thing they do is role out of bed and put on the first article of clothing they see. So what is the easiest way to mask your “sad to say” outfit for the day?…purchase a funk, fashionable, impressive bag. This has become a popular trend that you shouldn’t leave home without n your college years. Eyes will turn toward your cool bag instead of the holey sweats you tiredly thru on.
Happy shopping and make sure to check the back to school sales the outlet centers have on their website. Some amazing deals.
