Star, Spangled Fashion. The right look for July 4th.

The fourth of July is just a day away and if you’re anything like the team who writes for Outlet Gals blog, we’ve got places to go to celebrate our country’s independence and we need outfits to make our holiday just a bit more festive.

We went shopping and found some fabulous merchandise over at Woodburn Company Stores that we wanted to share with you (maybe to help you get into the holiday spirit too). We started at GAP Outlet. We love this tunic dress with the stripes. It’s comfortable and versatile.  When we saw this dress we knew it would be perfect for the casual BBQ we’re attending with friends from the office. We also love the trench coat with a fun graphic tee and jeans. Perfect way to go from day with the family to late night fireworks watching (so we got that outfit too).

We made our purchases then headed straight over to GUESS Factory where we immediately fell in love with the white summer dress with the jean vest. This is a great look for a hot holiday with friends but you can also pull this entire outfit into the fall. I can see myself wearing the vest over a great sweater and the white dress as one of my layers with cool jeans books and a fabulous scarf. Sorry, I digress. Take this wonderful number from GUESS Factory and add a great little sandal and great accessories.

We can’t forget Outlet Guy Marc. He’s got great fashion sense so when we asked him what he’s wearing and his plans are for the fourth he gave us the lowdown on fashion ideas for men. He’s going to spend the fourth pretty casual and he’s chosen to celebrate the holidays with a great pair of shorts, cool graphic tee and he’s going to layer it up with a plaid button-down shirt and a rockin’ hoody – because if you know Outlet Guy Marc – you know he loves his style.

He told me that he’s got the fashion down for a day in town filled with family activities but then is heading out to the beach for a party where it will get cold when the sun goes down.
